Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

Plain English summary: Zinvite is a tool you use at your own risk. You are entirely responsible for how you use it. We provide no warranties, accept no liability, and have no obligation to maintain or update the Software.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Zinvite ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. What the Software Does

Zinvite is a local Windows desktop tool that automates the sending of Microsoft Outlook Web calendar invites through the user's own authenticated Outlook session. It operates entirely on the user's machine. Zinvite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Microsoft Corporation in any way.

3. Your Responsibility — In Full

You are solely and entirely responsible for:

We bear no responsibility whatsoever for the manner in which you use the Software or the outcomes of that use.

4. No Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no representation that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from defects.

We do not warrant that the Software will remain functional following any update, change, or policy revision by Microsoft or any other third-party platform. The Software interacts with third-party interfaces that are outside our control and may change or break at any time without notice.

5. No Obligation to Update or Maintain

We are under no obligation — express, implied, or moral — to provide updates, patches, bug fixes, new features, customer support, or any continued maintenance of the Software at any time. Any updates we choose to provide are offered entirely at our discretion and do not create any expectation or obligation to provide further updates. The Software may cease to function at any time and we accept no responsibility or liability for that.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zinvite and its creator(s) expressly disclaim all liability for:

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you — for any and all claims — exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is lower.

7. Third-Party Platforms

The Software relies on third-party tools and platforms including Microsoft Outlook Web, Microsoft 365, Playwright browser automation, and Google Fonts. We have no control over these services and accept no responsibility or liability for any changes, outages, deprecations, or policy updates that affect the Software's functionality. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Software to send unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law, to harass, threaten, or target individuals, to impersonate any person or entity, or for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purpose. We reserve the right to revoke your licence key if we reasonably believe you are using the Software in violation of these terms or applicable law.

9. Subscription and Access

Paid subscriptions are validated against our licence server. Access to paid features continues for as long as your subscription remains active. If your subscription lapses, expires, or is cancelled, paid features are revoked automatically. We may revoke access to the Software at any time if we determine it is being used in breach of these Terms, without refund or notice.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the Software following any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to check for updates periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the creator's place of residence. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By using Zinvite you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full, and that you assume complete personal responsibility for all use of the Software and all outcomes arising from that use.

Plain English summary: Your contacts, invite content, and Outlook credentials never leave your machine. We collect only a small amount of anonymous operational data described below.

What We Don't Collect

Zinvite does not collect, access, store, or transmit:

All of the above data is stored exclusively on your local machine in ~/.zinvite_profile/. It is never uploaded to any server.

What We Do Collect

The Software sends the following minimal, anonymous signals to our licence server hosted on Railway:

None of this data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party, ever.

Gumroad Purchases

If you purchase a Starter or Pro plan via Gumroad, Gumroad processes your payment and shares your purchase email address with us solely to generate and deliver your licence key. That email is stored on our licence server associated with your key. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs their handling of your payment and personal data — we are not responsible for it.

Cookies and Tracking

This website (zinvite.io) does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any third-party tracking tools. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar service. The only external resource loaded is Google Fonts (for typography), which is a standard browser request to Google's servers.

Data Retention

Anonymous launch analytics are retained for a rolling period for operational purposes. Licence records (key + purchase email) are retained while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. You may request deletion by emailing support@zinvite.io.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of the current policy.

Plain English summary: Monthly payments are non-refundable. You get access until the end of the billing period when you cancel. No exceptions.

Monthly Subscriptions

All monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access to your plan's features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds, pro-rata credits, or refunds for unused days are issued under any circumstances.

Free Plan

The free plan carries no payment obligation and no refund policy applies.

What Is Never Refunded

Regardless of circumstance, we do not issue refunds for:

Technical Fault Credits

If the Software is entirely non-functional due to a verified fault on our part — not caused by third-party platform changes, your system configuration, or your Outlook account status — and you have reported the issue to us and we have been unable to resolve it within 14 days, you may be eligible for a one-month credit applied to your next billing cycle. This is issued entirely at our discretion and does not constitute a cash refund. It is not available for issues arising from Microsoft Outlook interface changes.

How to Cancel

Cancel your subscription directly through Gumroad at any time. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the billing period and is then revoked automatically. No action is required on your part beyond cancelling through Gumroad.

By purchasing a subscription you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Refund Policy in full.
